Friday 24 Feb — Exploring The Eastern Shore
12:00am Brunch at Eggsentric Cafe And Restaurant
Kick off your relaxing 48 hours in Whitianga with a delicious brunch. The Whitianga Ferry traverses the short distance between Whitianga central and the eastern shores every 10 minutes, and from there it’s only a sunny 10 minute wander along the boulevard until you discover quirky cafe Eggscentric! Try the eggs!
1:30pm — Hop on Your Pre-Booked Tour with Boom! Sailing
The Boom! Sailing catamaran, Fully Charged , leaving at 1:45 from Flaxmill Bay, will take you on a 3 ½ hour adventure past some of the most beautiful coastline in New Zealand. Explore incredible sea caves, swim with shoals of fish and if you’re lucky, you might even meet a local pod of dolphins!

8:00pm Watch the Sunset on the Whitianga Rock Walk
A short walk will take you up to the Mercury Bay Lookout for sunset. Don’t forget to take some pictures for Instagram! Other good lookout points along this path are the Scenic & Historic Landing and the Whitianga Rock.
Saturday 25 Feb — Show Time!
8:00am — Breakfast at Hula
Get some soul food in you at easy breezy cafe Hula! Hula has a menu jam-packed with tasty meals for everyone and make sure to keep your eye on their Facebook page for special events. The Rock N Roll Circus insists that you try their delicious coffee to prepare for your day!
9:00am — Wander through the Whiti Citi Market
You’re lucky enough to be in town for the fabulous Whiti Citi Markets, so make sure to make it over to Soldiers Memorial Park to check it out. Find a diverse offering of products and services by community artisans- and maybe even a treasure or two for you to wear tonight! You could spend hours browsing the stalls but once you work up an appetite it’s time for lunch!
12:00am — Lunch at Harbour House
Head on over to the iconic Harbour House for a lunch to remember! Delicious coffee, great service and a modern menu with a huge outdoor courtyard to enjoy. What more could you ask for?
1:00pm — Relax at The Lost Spring
You might be surprised to find a beautiful natural hot spring surrounded by native bush just a 15 minute stroll from the Whitianga Wharf. Step into a magical paradise and relax in the geothermal pools or take advantage of the many one hour treatments at the day spa. The Rock n Roll Circus recommends the Deluxe Manicure or Pedicure to get your nails burlesque- ready!

At only a four minute walk from the Monkey House Theatre, Blue Ginger Eatery is the perfect place to dine tonight. Their carefully crafted, world- class menu has something for every palate and their casual, eclectic setting will get you in the party mood with groovy tunes! The Rock n Roll Circus recommends the bao buns and the locally brewed Blue Fridge Ginger Beer.
7:00pm- Get Ready for Your Night Of Entertainment at Burlesque Heatwave
The Monkey House Theatre is now open! Get your drinks at the fully licensed bar before finding your seat in the intimate theatre. We’ll be on stage soon!
10:00pm- Don’t go Anywhere! It’s Time for the Monkey House Afterparty!
Ready to finish up your night? Us neither! The party’s not over yet so stick around at the Monkey House Theatre for The Rock N Roll Circus official afterparty. Buy us a drink and meet us on the dancefloor- let’s see if you can keep up!
Sunday 26 Feb — Rest & Recovery
10:00am — Crawl Out of Bed for Brunch at Kufe Bar & Eatery
You’ll feel better after eating one of Kufe’s massive burgers, so put on your black gloves and dig in without fear of getting your hands covered in their excellent sauces. Kufe Bar & Eatery also has fantastic views over Mercury Bay, so sit out on their terrace and spend some time in the sun.
12:00am — Walk it off Along The Esplanade
Go on champ, you know a walk will make you feel better. Take in beautiful Mercury Bay with a wander along the seaside. Feel the sand between your toes, breathe in the fresh ocean air and listen to the soothing roar of the waves. Thank you for spending your weekend at Whitianga with us!
